Queen Victoria Marriage Medal Overstruck On Coronation Medal

I recently bought this marriage medal.

It was only on closer examination that I noticed the reverse was struck over something else; probably a Queen Victoria coronation medal.

Brass 28.5mm.

Obv: Conjoined busts of Victoria and Albert


Queen-Victoria-Marriage-Medal-Overstruck-On-Coronation-Medal
Rev: MARRIED FEB 10 1840. In centre, a flower.

Underlying medal has the inscription in 7 lines:

BORN
MAY ...9
... N ...ED
THE ... ONE
JUNE ... 1837?
CROWNED
JUNE 28 1838
