Is This 2024 Penny A Lamination Error?

OneRedCent New Member United States 19 Posts	Posted 08/29/2025 4:56 pm The dark ones are seemingly uncirculated copper pennies from various years! There have also been 2009 formative years mixed in the Loomis rolls lately..all sprinkled in but all are very clean. These are some. I opened many rolls that had them. This was the only 2024 roll that had this one off coin. Report this Post to the Staff

Laminations come from improperly mixed alloys. Are they raised, recessed, or neither? At first glance they reminded me of linear plating blisters. Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
