Just damaged from a hit in circulation. Not an error. You should study the minting process and read up on error-ref.com. It will save you time from damaged coins, or coins with worthless doubling. https://learn.apmex.com/learning-gu...no&gbrtmp=no https://www.error-ref.com

An error can only happen during the actual striking of the coin.
Seeing there is no way for this to happen at that time, by default it is damage.
Something to remember, about 99% of anomolies are damage, very rare to
find an actual error in the wild.
