Jefferson Nickel Planchet Error Or Dryer Coin?

I do agree that this nickel didn't leave the mint looking like this. Marv65 Bedrock of the Community United States 10601 Posts	Posted 03/19/2026 2:25 pm When I first looked at the side picture I thought it looked like acid may have eaten into the sides but after looking closer the rims have seem to be pounded (rounded) over the side of the nickel.
