I just returned from purchasing the Standing Liberty quarters. A magnificent set for the money! $90.00. I had a lens smudge on the obverse, please ignore.

I can't see it going higher than VG, but I'm not an expert. On the plus side though, it looks to have original surfaces. Your probably alright at $90 for the set. I've been wanting a set of these for a long time. :-)

VG+, the 27-S typically has a weak strike

Obverse seems about F-12 and reverse is VG-10, so overall probably a VG-10. Seems like a decent purchase. Do you have the dates or pics of the other SLQ's?

A handsome series and that's not a bad example. If the smudges are from the camera, it looks quite good.

I'm happy for you - and it seems you talked him down to $90! So as long a few of the "commoners" are in better than G/VG shape, you did ok!
