Hello,
I came across a few odd pennies today, grateful for any thoughts or expertise on the rarity of the errors.

Thanks!

All I see is coins with damage ( PMD) and Die Chips. The first coin has corrosion on it. For reference, here's what a real Struck Through Grease error looks like. https://www.error-ref.com/struck-th...-grease-oil/

Gotcha! Thanks for the info and link.

So as the result of a die chip at best none of these are particularly noteworthy errors/flaws?

Pretty much. Die Chips are very common on Wheat Cents from the 1950's. Some are collectible, like the BIE Die Chips. Also, if the Die Chip is huge, it can carry a premium over face value. In this case, I don't think your coins with Die Chips in the 5 of the date carries any premium.

In the future, please post one coin per thread so we can keep the discussion straight.

Agree with all above. Caution when handling coins using fingers...risk of transferring oily finger prints to coin surfaces.

There are no errors in any of your coins.
FYI, die chips are not errors and all your other
cents just show corrosion and damage.

the 1915, 1953 and the 1955 just show die chips (the 1953 also shows copper corrosion too)
The 1957 and 1952 are damaged possibly by a Gumball Machine.

Next time ONLY ONE coin in each topic. If that requires multiple topics to be started, then that is the correct way to show and ask questions about your coins.
