So I got my silver proof set today and what do I see? A huge scar on the cheek of the dime. Advice? Send for grading? Definite mint error. Opinions?

Could be a fun error to send in along with the other 5 coins in that mint holder.

It's hard for me to tell, but is the anomaly raised or incuse?

Here is a zoomed in pic of the area in question. Hard to tell. Going to scope it this evening.

There is nothing in the case. Its not a string or anything. Believe me, I tried tapping the thing and moving it every which way and no change. It is indeed part of the coin itself.

This does not really help. In the future, please do not post photos of scope screens. Use the memory card or a USB cable to transfer images.
