If a collector is n00b enough to get fooled by that fake, they have no business spending $250 on a single cent. Although we might wish otherwise, there is no way to prevent fools and money from parting.

The forum use to have a way .... but that appears to have ended ... so many counterfeits so little time ...
Yes - it was a poor counterfeit and probably explains its low final bid amount.
Thanks for your review & feedback.

The guy who was doing it left, and they haven't replaced him.

And to me anything over $50 is high dollar, LOL. You can be sure that before I spend that kind of money on a coin, I will seek advice from people more expert than I am. Probably here on CCF.

The coin sale did get positive feedback. Curiously when you click on the auction link - you are led to a missing item page. It's as if the sale is hidden or did not happen ?

Quote: The coin sale did get positive feedback. It's been going on for decades. When ATing coins was really popular on ebay, the glowing feedback for the coin destroyers made me sick. Never underestimate the ignorance of the public.
