I'll be at this show too! Dragging one of my kids along for the ride as well. We'll see how that works out!

drdn, enjoy the show! Will this be your first FUN show? If so, when parking/arriving, make sure to take note the show is located in Hall WC, as the convention center is HUGE.

Weirdly my first summer FUN. I usually am busy during the summer and do winter FUN.

Good.
The first time I went to a FUN show I had an Uber drop me off at the main entrance of the OCCC and I had to walk what seemed like 2 miles in order to get to the show. Rookie mistake.

The show has been good so far. I have had fewer buyers but my sales have been good. Fewer early birds compared to January. Attendance was still fairly strong the official 1st day. I have had essentially zero time to walk the floor, unfortunately.

The show ended up being great. Many dealers were extremely happy with sales, many did more than the January show. I sold nearly half my inventory.

It's "ONLY" 380 miles from me, and I'm sure some people travel further to get there, but I've never been. There used to be local coin shows where I live, but nothing in decades. They were impressive for here, occupying the whole Civic Center. Kinda sad there's been nothing lately.

It was a banger. As a world coin collector, it was odd; that aspect of the hobby is growing pretty quickly so 'deals' were thin on the ground but perhaps the best 'deal' I've encountered in a decade- a very bulky and extremely high grade mid-century silver world coin collection consisting of a lot of scarce and very high grade European proof material- being sold at melt. TBH I'm regretting not spending a lot more at that table.

Vector Ze, definitely worth it. Do yourself a favor and plan for the January show.
LandonM, congrats on the nice score!
Every world coin dealer I spoke to had a great show.
