Italy 10 Lire 1949 Note: did you know that you can't eat olives straight from the tree? I didn't, but found out when a tree I bought off of the discount rack started fruiting. I looked up olive preparation, and it's a weeks-long process of blanching and soaking to go from tree to edible fruit.

Very nice 1949 10 Lire, HondoB.
I was aware of the preparation time for olives but I can't remember where I read about it. I prefer ripe olives in various foods like enchiladas, potato salad and pizza.
