my only two 1896 notes... much, much rarer than the 1898 issues, even though they look nearly identical: Germany - P# 18 - 100 Mark 1896 (PMG 20) Germany - P# 19 - 1000 Mark 1896 (PMG 25) Edited by SchwarzerEinser

1894A rather rare 2-peso bill issued by the Argentine Provincial Bank of Salta in 1894. A beautiful allegory of trade on the reverse.

Beautiful banknotes! I love the vignettes on the Argentinian banknotes. We've now surpassed both the First and Second Editions!  I will leave it up to the mods if we want to close the old threads. |
