I am woefully behind in sharing my latest banknote acquisitions, so I'll start with this 1979 Sri Lanka 2 Rupees P-83a that I bought at the summer show. I now have the three lowest denominations in this Flora & Fauna series, and I hope to eventually get the 20 and 50 Rupees. The 100 Rupees is way out of my price range.   |

2018 Algeria 500 Dinars P-W145(2). The obverse shows a satellite over the globe while the reverse has satellite dishes and a bridge. Interestingly, there are enough world banknoets with satellite dishes that it could be a collecting theme.   |
