There are barely any for sale online, most are the proof not business strike. Has this always been uncommon?
Business strikes seemed to be plentiful at the coin shows in the past. Most of them higher grade, probably running $30 to $50. I will have to see what is available at the next show.

For the album, getting a business strike would be the way to go the get that hole filled, then maybe later get a proof to add.

I ended up purchasing a 09 vdb pcgs vf25 online. Of course it's an older blue label with no photo on file so I'm a little nervous. Aside from checking for the loop/circle in the S and verifying the B in vdb looks right.. what else should I check? I only have a few days to validate after delivery..

Here she is. I think the coin is legit but I'll certainly welcome your thoughts as it wasn't a cheap purchase. Tough to get a good pic of the S but I tried. The B looks right and it does have a pcgs holo on the back which is promising.

Thank you both for verifying, I feel good about the coin! So at this point the set is pretty much done. Over the past few weeks I picked up a 1922-D Anacs EF40 to replace my verdigris one, a 1922-D WEAK D VG10 anacs, and a 1922-D No D Strong Reverse NGC G6. I also picked up all the key and semi-key dates in the original post in slabs. So now once I get the 1922-D No D in the mail, I will only need the 1970-S Small Date Business Strike to complete my set! Thankfully my book doesn't have a spot for the 1955 DDO!
