snailking1 Pillar of the Community United States 1762 Posts	Posted Today 3H 12M ago First: A nice Struck Through Grease Second: Looks strange to me! At first I thought it had roller lines, but they go in different directions so I am assuming polishing marks, even though there are lines on the devices in relief. But it has an almost frosted look to it. Not sure if I was able to get the pics to display the look very well. It is on both the obverse and the reverse. Sort of looks like the coin was minted with all the polishing dust still covering both dies. I've seen nickels with a frosted look, but not any SBA's before. Any thoughts or experience with this? I forgot to add pic of behind SBA's head, showing the lines there go in a different directions. So I didn't think roller lines either. Just seems weird (to me) that nearly every spot on the coin has lines. Suppose it could be a combination of roller lines and polish marks. Hadn't thought of that!
