this is an odd ball. the discrepancy between the obv and rev appears to be two different coins. the obv looks VF and the rev AU. the only conclusion I can make is that the obv is weakly struck. I seriously dont know how net grade this one.
the 1916
Walking Liberty half dollar did face notable strike quality problems. The Mint made multiple design and die modifications in 1916 and 1917 to address these problems, but none of the strike&-improving changes were fully successful. This meant that even with adjustments, many early Walkers still showed weak or uneven strikes.
if I disregard the strike issues at the mint i'd say AU53. if I was to net it I guess i'd say XF45
