Although not a valuable error, this round Die Chip (?) exiting from the front of Lincoln's eye looks exactly like the bullet which killed him. As everyone knows, Lincoln was shot in the back of the head. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this interesting anomaly.

Question... Is that feature raised, flush with the surface, or sunken (incuse)?

The feature is raised, not flat. I took an additional picture while holding the coin at an angle, skewing the face a bit. I hope it gives a clearer image and shows the anomaly is not a discoloration.

I think the cool thing is not what the feature is, but where it is located on the coin next to the face. Die chips have little value unless there located in an interesting place, i.e. The Spitting Horse"
