Orders are limited to two sets per household. Check out 2026 American Innovation Proof coins on ebay
The obverse (heads) design of American Innovation $1 Coins features a dramatic representation of the Statue of Liberty in profile with the inscriptions "IN GOD WE TRUST" and "$1." Each obverse design also includes a unique privy mark of a stylized gear, representing industry and innovation. In 2026, the privy mark also incorporates a Liberty Bell with the inscription "250" to commemorate the Semiquincentennial of our Nation's founding. The edge-incused inscriptions are "2026," the mint mark, and "E PLURIBUS UNUM." American Innovation - IowaThe Iowa American Innovation $1 Coin reverse (tails) design depicts Dr. Norman Borlaug holding a sheaf of wheat and wheat stalks, highlighting his pioneering work developing resilient crops capable of feeding a growing global population. Inscriptions are "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "IOWA." Additional inscriptions are "NORMAN BORLAUG" and "FATHER OF THE GREEN REVOLUTION." American Innovation - WisconsinThe Wisconsin American Innovation $1 Coin reverse (tails) design features the Cray-1, the first commercially successful supercomputer. Built from 1976 to 1982, it was known as the world's fastest computer. The Cray-1's unique circular design helped increase the speeds at which signals travel from one part of the computer to the other. This design exhibits a stylized aerial view of the Cray-1 supercomputer. The image emphasizes the Cray-1 not only through its shape, but also by suggesting the shape of a "C" for Cray-1 and "computer." Inscriptions are "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "WISCONSIN." The additional inscription is "CRAY-1 SUPERCOMPUTER." American Innovation - CaliforniaThe California American Innovation $1 Coin reverse (tails) design presents a young Steve Jobs sitting in front of a quintessentially northern California landscape of oak-covered rolling hills. As he is captured in a moment of reflection, his posture and expression show how this environment inspired his vision to transform complex technology into something as intuitive and organic as nature itself. Inscriptions are "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "CALIFORNIA." Additional inscriptions are "STEVE JOBS" and "MAKE SOMETHING WONDERFUL." American Innovation - MinnesotaThe Minnesota American Innovation $1 Coin reverse (tails) design features a 1940s-era truck with an early front-mounted refrigeration unit. The icons adorning the side of the truck identify the diverse temperature-sensitive goods whose widespread transportation was made possible by this innovation. Inscriptions are "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "MINNESOTA." The additional inscription is "MOBILE REFRIGERATION." This set features a clear plastic lens encasing four stunning coins in a beautifully designed package and includes the Mint's Certificate of Authenticity. One on subscription for me.
I kinda like the Wisconsin Cray design. Never been a fan of withe wide open fields on the obverses, but I guess that's not what you look at on these coins. And, as always, definitely not a fan of the date and MM on the edge.

Quote: One on subscription for me. Same. Quote: I kinda like the Wisconsin Cray design. The best of the set. Quote: Never been a fan of withe wide open fields on the obverses, but I guess that's not what you look at on these coins... definitely not a fan of the date and MM on the edge. Preach. Plenty of room for the date and mint mark on these and the Native American dollars. I would like slap whoever thought all dollars needed this just because the Presidential dollars benefited from it. I also want to give multiple slaps to the bonehead who canceled the regular proof sets.

A shame they stopped making the regular proofs literally half way through the whole collection.

Quote:I would like slap whoever thought all dollars needed this just because the Presidential dollars benefited from it. HOW did the Presidential dollars benefit from it? Quote:At least the prices are reasonable. Quote: Reasonable? Almost double what it was last year! Seriously! Maybe he meant it hasn't nearly quadrupled, like the Mint Sets did year-to-year. And yeah, dropping the Proof Set was a sucky thing to do to collectors who had begun a collection (like us).

Quote:HOW did the Presidential dollars benefit from it? The obverse had their number and the dates of their term. The reverse was rather full as well. Adding the normal legends, date, mint, etc. on either side would make for a really cluttered design. That they felt a need to later cram IGWT on there proves my point. Quote: Seriously! Maybe he meant it hasn't nearly quadrupled, like the Mint Sets did year-to-year. Fair point.

mine too. The mint may be expensive this year, but they also got a lot more quicker too.

Quote: Reasonable? Almost double what it was last year! Jbuck, I mean compared to most of the stuff the U.S. Mint sells, it's not the worst I've seen, when it comes to price gouging. Some of the U.S. Mint stuff costs hundreds. It's still a bit pricey I'll admit.
