ahhh I've heard the premiums they charge for these are just extreme. For bars, the cost is I think 7-8% premium, while normally they are no more than 2%.

Still good nevertheless for couch investors or the like.

That is very neat in my opinion, in Abu Dhabi you can also go to the bank and withdraw gold bars as a daily transaction. If I saw a machine I might buy one just to say I got it from a vending machine.

If you can afford to rent a room for $1000.00/night, then yes, by all means buy one for a souvenir!
