I think so, but the key point is that acetone shouldn't hurt the coin.

That's a nice 84 even without the Cud. Looks like it has smooth surfaces. They usually have a bunch of zits all over them.

The water stains are likely permanent. However, it certainly wouldn't hurt to try a soak in distilled water and then rinse with acetone.
