It's not wear. Wear would be even.

Not sure whether it was Struck Through Grease or PMD, I can't really tell.

If it is PMD its isolated in a very small place,,the rest of the coin looks nice,that was struck through wasnt it?Could die fatigue effect just a small area?

A reverse image might help. If the reverse if pushed out in that area on the opposite side, then it would be PMD. But if the reverse looks normal it could be a strike through. Is the coin bent?

Sorry I didn't post a reverse. I tried to post a couple different angles. It's not bent but it is slightly pushed out directly on the reverse side of the date. Also I noticed there is another small area pushed out on the reverse side and directly on the obverse side on Jefferson's head there is another "scuff", don't know the proper terminology. What Exactly is a PMD?

PMD is post mint damage - and your pictures of the reverse confirmed that is what you have. Aside from the bump you indicate, there is a cut on the reverse rim that corresponds to the damage on the obverse.

At least you still have a nickel though.
