A bidding war took place over a lot of eight 1966 20¢ pieces with a slight flaw on the numeral two. These sold for $12,349 (including buyer's premium, currently 16.5% including GST), way above the $1000 estimate." the Noble's catalogue describes them as: "Two with toning around top edge otherwise extremely fine - uncirculated." even so, that'd be over $1500 each ... They don't usually come onto the market, they become available through who you know and are quickly snapped up. I know of about 6 that were sold recently all PCGS MS64-MS66 and sold for multi-thousands of dollars in just a few days. Report this Post to the Staff
