I am looking for an image of the 2000 P type 1 vs the 2000 P type 2 coin. It is my understanding that the type 1 coin has a bold strike on the tail feathers.

your looking for the "Cheerios dollar and you probably will not find one in circulation. I don't know exactly how many was minted but I think I read it was about 10.000 you will have better luck finding a 09 S VDB in circulation but I have seen stranger things happen so don't stop looking

I believe the mintage estimate is 5,500 and so far I have only heard of one piece having been found in a roll for the bank.

I think we are discussing two different coins here- the very rare and valuable Cheerios pattern and the Glenna Goodacre presentation pieces, of which there are two different finishes.
