About six months ago, I started buying "junk" silver lots on ebay which I now tend not to do because of the enormous amount many sellers would demand for shipping to AK. Recently I was trying to make room for some recent acquisitions and found this...not sure how I missed it but I apparently did. Which brings me to why I am here, I have a couple of questions about this SLQ, what date is it, what grade is it and how much is it worth

oh and which variety is it?

It's definitely a 1917 Type 1.

I'm not real familiar with grading these...maybe G4?

Worth somewhere in the neighborhood of $20.

Nice find in a junk silver lot!
Rest in Peace

Definitely type 1 1917 like cwb said! I would grade it AG overall due to the reverse wear into the lettering, though the obverse looks G-4

It's about a 15-20 dollar coin.

I agree with it being 1917 Type 1, great find in a junk lot- worth about 4-5x what you paid.

you can tell it's a type 1 because there are no stars under the eagle on the reverse.

Her hair curls up on a type 1, down on type 2.
