Tim Stroud Pillar of the Community United States 2661 Posts	Posted 01/11/2011 4:28 pm My work shut down for the day because of weather, Got about 6" of snow there yesterday. We only got a dusting with a little ice so I got tired of sitting at the house and went to the site of and old church that was torn down about six years ago. Found these goodies along with 2 aluminum bottle caps 7 pieces of some sort of aluminum sheeting about 3" square and pulled 10 or so feet of Romex wire, gonna strip that and take it to the recyclers for a little $ towards a new pin pointer ;) . Managed to find a small trash pile about 20 or so yards into the woods and pulled a couple of nice bottles out of it along with a "Ball" zinc lid. Here is the lid along with MY first Bust Dime and Flying Eagle cent !! :cool: A 1957D wheatie and three Lincoln memorial cents. [b] 1834 Bust Dime Badly corroded Flying Eagle, can't read the date :( My first one Pint Clorox and another small bottle. It was a good day swinging that is for sure. I think I am gonna hit that spot again just for good measure. Report this Post to the Staff
