I'll assume you are referring to the mint official's initials: here is the listing out of Krause Letter Date Name AL 1898-1916 Adolf Lindberg, engraver B 1992-2005 Stefan Ingves D 1986-1992 Bengt Dennis EB 1876-1908 Emil Brusewitz EL 1916-1944 Erik Lindberg, engraver G 1927-1945 Alf Grabe LH 1944-1974 Leo Holmberg, engraver SI 2005- Stefan Ingves TS 1945-1961 Torsten Swensson U 1961-1986 Benkt Ulvfot W 1908-1927 Karl-August Wallroth
Thanks, but I already found those. I googled for the mint official's mark of Karl-August Wallroth, but it seems different to me. The mark I'm looking foor looks like a 'M' or possibly a 'W', with a crown on top.
The "M-or-W symbol" on Swedish coins is actually a tiny crowned portrait with long hair. The best pic I've seen of it on the 'Net is the second pic of this recent CU forum thread.
I don't know what the little portrait means; neither do the folks over on CU.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
