Quote from Cherrypicker's guide "Description - Two deep valleys appear in the flame, which is struck in hight relief" "Comments - Made public just months before press time, these are not very well known. The reverse on these dimes was first used for the 1968 Proofs. Largely restricted to Proof dimes for the next three years the design appears on just a few 1969,1970, and 1970-D circulation strikes, and so far seems to be rare." No value is listed. This variety is also listed in the 3rd edition of Strike it Rich without a value as well. Report this Post to the Staff
