I found this weird 1998 5 cents. Any ideas what happened? Is this an error or it is post damage? All the pictures are from the same nickel.

UUUUGLY ! Either it's the worst case of a bad planchet, or it was left on a snowy, salted street and run over by a car. Photo of the whole coin?

Snow plow tracks are showing, still has a few small gravel rock holes.
