If they are star notes, then they might be worth saving. But no matter how much I like old dollar bills, if they aren't any of the above, they probably aren't worth keeping. There is a chance that someone had those as part of a collection and tried to sell them and realized there was no market for them or not enough value to justify the effort to sell them individually. googoo Valued Member United States 466 Posts	Posted 10/16/2011 10:39 am hmm, I had no idea what these were, but after a quick look in the CCF search bar I found out that Barr was a secretary of state who served for a very brief time frame the notes I think I read were from 1963 series very interesting I would keep them just because I like old notes, but that is quite a bit of money. If you don't need the money though, there is no real reason to ditch them in my opinion. It's not like depositing the coins in the bank will gain you anything. Maybe buying silver with them would be a better investment then just holding them. Report this Post to the Staff
