The "A" may have been a store promotion, or just someone messing with a metal stamper... Report this Post to the Staff
Buddy Rest in Peace United States 7075 Posts	Posted 10/24/2011 9:47 pm I have a Morgan with initials carved into it. I have puzzled over it for years --trying to guess the meaning or purpose. Sadly I think it is meaningless. At least your nickel looks like somebody was 'engraving' rather than carving...although it seems to be stamped -- but nickel requires a lot of pressure to stamp. My poor old Morgan was probably scratched with a nail. Report this Post to the Staff
