Found this on E Bay, described as "Rarest in the last 60 years".

IS THIS TRUE

The seller only wants $2.88 for it,think I will buy it , thats a great deal.

The nickel is the common P for 2000. The other 2000P coins are rare.

Technically, the ebay seller is right.

It is the rarest Canadian nickel in the last 50 yrs.
1951 was the last year when nickels had a mintage less than 4.9 million.

2000P ==> 4.9 million
1970 ==> 5.7 million
1955 ==> 5.4 million
1951 ==> 4.3 million

They are fairly uncommon. Not really to rare. I think I have around 2 rolls I have pulled from circulation so far. I keep them when I find them unless they are in low grades. I find that the 1970 is far more a scarce find for me.
