It was a crazy thought to be walking around the show and see mariospaghetti, yankee1227, Gothic Florin, SuperDave... , all in big bold black letters across every one's back or chest Here is a site I found. I will go fancy and have it on a Polo http://www.customink.com/services/s...t-shirts.htm

August 2011 ... Philly ... ANA Show ... CCF get-together? I'll be there if this can actually be organized. I live 1.5 hours South of Philly ... would be great to meet a few of you. David

I'm actually kind of surprised, first that so many of us live nearby and second that we haven't done this before.

Getting a booth at one of the larger shows would be a great staging area and way to highlight the Community. We can even sign up new recruits and brainwash them!

Why don't we all just get a CCF T-shirt from the CCF store and wear name tags?

If all members can contribute for a booth, don't know how much it cost? Than everyone can buy at least one CCF gears to this gathering and help offset perhaps other costs, there will be no need to figure out how to spot one or another.! Member Name Tag would be nice?

This is an intriguing idea.... A back-of-the-bourse, single 8ft table with backup table is $500. $750 gets a corner table set, double that size. My photography rig is completely portable, and I can run it all from my laptop. It would use about half of an 8ft table. With the simple addition of a "black box" enclosure for light control, I see no reason why I couldn't use the system to its' full potential even in a brightly-lit area. We could offer free, high-res coin imaging as an incentive....I'd probably want to network (or sneaker-net with SD cards) with another fairly fast laptop to burn disks for the "customers" without loading up the CPU I'm using for imaging. I would not suggest that we totally impose this cost on Bobby and Susan, but rather help by splitting some of it amongst ourselves. I know I'd be willing to help. It'd be a way of giving back to CCF. I think their company would allow them to sell legally; perhaps some favorable terms for consignment might be negotiated to help populate the cases. This has potential. We'd need a reading from Whitman regarding the acceptability of the thing, of course. And I guess somebody would have to mention it to Bobby and Susan.

It would be decently easy to get a table if all of us would donate $20 or $25. Even less if more people wanted to come. That would be great becuase the ANA has a softspot for clubs and forums. If I remeber correctly, they give free table to clubs like CONECA. They just put this back in effect this year. Someone should contact them after talking to Bobby and Susan if this would be a good idea.

I'm in and with mom and dads blessing, what Super mentioned would be a fantastic way to get the CCF more exposure as to who we are.
