Hi all, any members from the above areas frequent local shows? We have a few here, monthly or bi monthly but I a looking to expand my show going adventures. I don't mind driving for an hour and a half or so to S Jersey,PA, NY or CT for a good show.
Thanks Tony

There is a calendar of events here on the forum. I have posted info for the show here in Williamsport PA for the past few years in August. You could probably catch others there listed.

I've mentioned this before. Not all coin shows are well published or advertised. Start with the ones listed in places like here, the Coin World web site, Google and your state, etc. Then also try coin clubs in your area in Google or Yahoo. Many coin clubs have coin shows but seldom are advertised enough. If there are any coin stores in your area, also try asking at those places for possible ocin shows. If I used just one of the so called coin show calendars I'd miss about 1/3 of all the shows I now go to.

If you're willing to drive to Albany, there's a once a month coin show at the polish community center. It'a the first Sunday of every month.

Albany os not out of the question for me, although Sundays are not the best day for that drive. I missed a show last week but was away Wespnex at the Westchester Co Center, big show with 100 dealers, al least last time I went it was. We have a monthly show near here but I am looking for some new dealers and coins, its the same old thing over and over again at this show. Just getting back into collecting after a break due to family health issues I am looking foward to any show I can go to now though.

There is a coin show in NJ almost every Sunday. The first Sunday of every month it's in Parsipanny, NJ. It's a pretty big one compare to the others I've been to. The second Sunday of every month there is one in Burlington Township. (I have never attended this one). The third Sunday of every month there is one in Clifton (5 mins from my house) =).

Yes I have been to Parsippany many times, not recently though I hope to make the next one Dec 4th I think. Clifton I went to years ago, have to make it there too, both are within 30 min, I'm in Bergen Co. The Westchester show is great, havent been there in a few years but its big. Disappointed I didnt make it this year.

Ok maybe Ill catch up to you there, hope to make it, first show in a few years, looking foward to being knocked out with the prices, from what I see they have gone UP, not so bad for lower grades that I collect though.

Old Bridge, NJ on March 17th at the Route 18 First Aid Squad building. I think it's actually called Marlboro Road but you can see it from the highway.
Doors open 8am and close by 1:30pm.

I used to go to the Burlington, NJ show when I lived in NJ. Not a huge show, but some nice dealers (35-40) and it was 2 minutes from my house.
