Does anyone collect Tiffin Tokens?

I have a few (counterfeits) and I know there are many varieties of this particular token, but what do you think of this auction?

I wrote to the seller and indicated that it looked like a Tiffin Token and asked why he thought it was so rare. I suggested that he get this one checked by a Canadian specialist. Here is his entire reply:

Hello
Thank you for you input, This item has been checked by a Canadian coin dealer that has given me the information on this item, He also has verified the value.
Thank you
Mike

Am I missing anything here? Or are both the seller and his friend wrong?

Hi swamperbob,
I don't collect these tokens,so I pulled out my older Charleton for reference. But his picture is so dark,I couldn't tell what it was.Maybe he hopes someone will just take his word for it.

With that very poor photo, I would have to have extreme trust in the seller to bid on this one.

This is one of two Tiffin Tokens I have won in the past month. So far I have no two that match exactly but they do seem to be very common. If there is a rare one I would like to know. Does anyone own a book that is more complete that the normal Charlton reference?
