I can't tell to what degree, but the fact that it gives off that "chrome" look typical of most cleaned silver is a good indication that it has been cleaned. Report this Post to the Staff

It does not look cleaned to me but there is a sizeable scrape on the neck that will knock it down to VG value levels. It is also a 1915-D, not O- New Orleans stopped striking coins in 1909. Some are worn out and/or cleaned but original example in VG can usually be found. They charge sales tax but no ebay or shipping fees. I've got a nice 1913-D up on ebay right now which I think would be an upgrade from this 1915-D..... Report this Post to the Staff

Maybe $12 worth of silver plus a buck or two of numismatic value. $24 is too high for auction but would not be unusual to see at a coin store. Report this Post to the Staff
