Both of the Australian mints have been selling 2012 coins since September.

Oh well. If Her Majesty happens to pass away before January 1st, they're the ones that are going to look silly.

This particular coin offered on ebay would have been snipped out of a mint set.

Makes me scratch my head when 2012 dated coins are being minted and sold in 2011. I know it's a common practice and I understand why. It still makes me scratch my head.

This particular vendor is selling individual coins out of the 2012 uncirculated set at a massive mark up. (I've had a rant about this on the NCLT forum.)

Here is the hyper metallic 50c http://www.ebay.com/itm/50c-Coin-20...em231688ebd2 .

$47 for a coin that you can get as part of the $32 uncirculated 6 coin set?

I might send this seller an email asking how they live with themselves

Its kind of ironic that the 2012 mint set was issued before many of us had found some of the 2010 coins in circulation.

There will always be "Bidiots" out there.
Let the dust settle and get your coins in due time, at the right price
