I cannot find much information on this coin. All I know is that it appears to be of Pope Innocent X possibly from around 1650. I think it's bronze or mixed metal. Is this considered a rare coin? Any idea of the value? Thanks in advance!   |

This is in really good shape. Perhaps too good. It may be a replica.

No, satxwd, I don't believe this is a replica (though I could be wrong) but either an original or a restrike.
I think it is a medal, not a coin.The date written on it is 1650 (in the middle of Innocent X reign as pope). There is no denomination . Since it could be a medal, it cannot really circulate into the population like normal currency does, causing wear and damage. This example was probably kept nice in someone's house or a museum for generations.
There are a lot of papal medals that are from the 16-17th century or restrikes also from around that time which are in excellent condition and sell for over $100.
