Generally don't purchase slabbed coins. But, nice coin (sorry for the OBV pic quality) and a little history of TPG's with this slab.

I didn't get any coins but I gave some as gifts. My wife and I decided to start getting our nephews, nieces and two daughters silver for gifts in the coming years...when they are older they may have a nice little beggining stack.

The plan for our daughters, age two and four, is to get them one ASE as well as a "world" coin each christmas and then a slabbed coin for their birthdays. They really love animals so we started with the African Wildlife series this year.

We put the coins into ringed airtites and the kids all loved them...it was great to see!

I posted this earlier in another thread, but to celebrate the recent drop in silver prices I decided to buy a $100 bag of BU Peace dollars and a couple of "bonus" coins:

Just got back from Christmas at my mom's. We always do it a week later when everyone is back in town. She got me a 2010 Mint set, mint rolled 2011 P&D Kennedy rolls, and a 2011 American Eagle.

All modern stuff, but still some great coins. This is my first eagle. I've seen them, but have never been that interested. This might change my mind though. It's a really beautiful coin in hand.
