Sap Moderator Australia 16869 Posts	Posted 01/09/2007 07:11 am I only know this because Krause points this out. The additional star is the only change in the design if the ½ franc coin since 1875. On these coins, it's one-star-per-state (the states are called "cantons" in Switzerland). In 1979, Switzerland split off the district of Jura from the state of Bern, creating a new state. This new state "got it's star" on the coins in 1982. Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S.
