If people are dumb enough to bid big that's there problem. I bought recently from 312311 and had no problems with the coins. I got good prices -- under release! His communication needs to better, late to add tracking number -- after it arrived But did call him and ended up talking to his wife, sounded Asian but was polite and had heaps of kiddies screaming in the background.

As for the solid...that's a hefty price for a fairly mediocre condition note from 1985 with the OCRB serials rather than gothic. You could pick one up much cheaper elsewhere. I find it odd that it's reached that much.
I've got a 1997 UNC pair of 97 777777 (solid 7's) & 97 777779 (8 digit radar) for sale for only $650 which is a bargain. I think I should try to sell them seperate.

Quote: As for the solid...that's a hefty price for a fairly mediocre condition note from 1985 There is definitely shill bidding going on with this seller. I've noticed on many auctions that u***u (private) has put in numerous bids, inching up to the maximum and then stopping just short (these are not the actions of a genuine bidder). A check of this bidder shows that 81% of his bids are with this seller and that there have been 9 bid retractions (probably when he has accidently overbid the highest bidder). Can this be reported to ebay?

I just got a serial of FH06 444999. Is this worth keeping/more than face?

id say a small premium, but not enough to make much money on ebay especially if it is not aUnc or better, unless 4 and 9 are someone's lucky numbers! chuck it up on the bay for $30 see if anyone bids, but in reality is it worth the effort for such a small return.

The problem with a note like that is it's such a pity to throw it back in the ocean (circulation).

I have decided to keep it. Yes its not worth much but it is only costing me $5 to keep and I like it. It is part of a very very small note collection I've just started. darn all of you for introducing me to radar serials. My lust for them seems to have taken over that which I have for decimal rarities in my change.

Would you keep a $50 note, last 6 digits are 600600, in about exf but has a nice crease across the digits so maybe graded less then exf
