Quote: from what I've heard most dealers wont touch polymer notes. tis true, dealer offered me 350 for my AN96 - still thats a modest 10% of an overpriced CV anyways.

Ausjack, the radar 553355 is worth keeping. The rest is just $200 cash worth spending. Lots of people love radars & it would command a small premium.

thanks GM..maybe he might make the book yet but as others have said the dealers don't want to know about them unless they're something like a UNC VG95

True, there's only a handful of dealers that deal with polymer. Give it time & they may become interested. What do they want? Scarce &/or rare notes...generally early last prefixes & above average condition. I think some collectors (especially me) want polymer as far as: First & last prefixes Interesting serial numbers (e.g solid, radars, repeaters etc) Low & high number serial numbers Minor & major errors Yeah, that's my opinion & I'm sure many people disagree.

I don't know about others, but a quick flick through my vario folder thats slowly filling up is nice. Its amazing the detail you see in a bank note when you take the time to look.

Goatieman where do you draw the line for a low or high number?

With general prefixes, I tend to draw the line at smaller than 001000 or larger than 999000. If it's a first or last prefix serial I might allow up to 010000 & 990000 (mainly because of scarcity). I think the higher or the lower the better. A couple nice ones I found were: $10 AA06 000004 A couple of weeks back I found: $5 HB06 999855 & an AA07 994075
