Nice notes Steve, haven't seen much of your paper or Canadian collection since you got seduced by the 'Dark (ages) Side'. You must have quite an ancients collection.

Do you guys want to look at Bank of Canada bank notes, or how about a cool Bank of Nova Scotia bank note. I love the scenes on these old bills.

Beautiful note t, vignettes are much nicer to look at than the stuffy old bank pres. and his v.p. , love the ship.

Nothing overly outstanding about my latest aquisition, it's a mid grade non asterisk BM prefix to go with my asterisk BM, but I like the deep ink colour they used in some of the Coyne notes compared to some of the later signatures. This scan does not do the note justice, the colours are much deeper.

Also like the Coyne signature for the values it brings to mind ; that Coyne as governor stood for, integrity, strength, and an unwillingness to be manipulated by the Diefenbaker Gov't and accepted being forced from his position rather than give in to what he and many Canadians felt was not good for the economy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Coyne
