Wow, Great buy Steve. I completely forgot about that auction! Looks like you got a nice price, for a nice note.

... ahhhh, it feels pretty good to buy something besides buying ancient coins!! (huh, I've been away for a few months, but apparently it's just like falling off of a bike ... ummm, or just like "riding" a bike ... whateva ... you know what I'm sayin'!)

Nice to see you back to where you belong buying Canadian banknotes.

Look what I scored at the same auction. Chartered Bank note. I love the looks of these old bankers. They look like they don't take no crap from no one. Got it for $186 plus the up charge. Books for about $425.

Canadian-Banknotes => ummm, but I am still being drawn towards "both" collection areas, Canadian and Ancient, for I also bought this ancient bad-boy yesterday!! (NOTE: not at the same auction) ...

KINGS OF EGYPT, PTOLEMY IV PHILOPATOR
221-204 BC
Diameter: 40 mm
Weight: 70 grams

Obverse: diademed Zeus-Ammon head
Reverse: eagle standing on thunderbolt, with cornucopea

yummmy => it is over 2,200 years old "and" it weighs 70 grams!! (it's kinda like a lil' wee hockey puck!!) ... it gets extra cool points!!

Post-Your-Paper-Money-Collections.

=> yup, there's still plenty o' room for Canadian banknotes "and" ancient coins at stevex6's house!!

... come to the dark-side, eh?

Haha, Yeah. I've thought about that before as well.

Close but no cigar.
