It looks like you took the pic inside of the Airtite. It is easier to grade coins if they are pictured raw. When the light diffuses through the plastic, it can make the details look a lot softer than they are. This is true of mylar also. As a result, I think the details are sharper on the actual coin than they appear in the pics. I also believe there is more luster than appears in the pics (the plastic will mess with this also). The reverse shows a significant rim bump between 12 and 1 o'clock. I think it's significant enough to be taken into account for the grade. I also see a couple of small hits on Liberty that aren't very significant. I do not believe there is any wear on this coin at all. Based on all of this, I'd call it MS60-61. Without that rim bump, I think it would have gone to MS62-63. By the way, the toning on this coin is breathtaking!  |

Hey Susan, Sure not trying to be argumentative, but it sure looks like there is some wear on the hair above the forehead. Maybe we can get cpfull to open it and take another pic. What say CP. Jim |

I'm going to say XF on the obverse and AU on the reverse. There are definite signs of wear on the hair and. Also of note is what may be damage to the rim on the reverse?

 Almost to the letter of what I was intending to write. Funny how we can all be so far apart on this one. I wonder how much the type, settings, and "health" of each of our computer monitors effects that? I'm using a reasonably young laptop with an LCD screen. |

I see this one as showing definite wear in the hair details, cotton bolls, leaf edges and the high point of the cap, places which would probably involve more problems with the hair than it does, had it been merely a weak strike. However, as Susan said, a pic outside the holder might easily change my opinion.
As of right now, AU50, obverse-limited, and maybe a bodybag for the reverse rim ding.

I believe its a AU coin also around 50ish if I were grading it based upon the pictures and what I see as wear
