@ Amaths, for most coins yes. I've never had trouble buying bullion from them with my credit card.

@jpaiva83: Thanks for the quick reply.

Another question, if I order 25 Moose, would they come with an RCM tube in the package?

J and M doesn't have them yet, but I have left phone number so that they will call me when it's available(I actually suggested that), there are one million of this coin coming, I'm not worrying it can be sold out very soon

Thank you, jpaiva83. I'm only curious. I just resumed my collection recently and am trying to focus on SML only. I wonder if I narrow down my targets, then this hobby may be sustainable. But many times the shipping cost would kill the deal. So I would like to get a few each time to average out the cost.

@Amaths: you will get a RCM tube with blue lid if you buy 25.

collecting SML is a good idea, it's fun and easy to acquire, eventually you will get a handful of heavy solid pure silver. I just finished the collection

Glad to know, SilverBug! I'm far from getting an entire set. Probably I never will. So I'll try to get whatever is obtainable and affordable at present. Congratulations on your collection! I'm sure it cost a lot of effort and premium. :)

Am I blind or is this coin not on the mint website? I've been asked to buy some for my dad who is out of the country right now. Do I have to order them from a dealer? Sorry but I don't normally buy coins online so I don't know the in's and out's of it.

thanks!

you need to purchace them from a registered RCM dealer or dealers that by from them. These kind of bullion coins can't be bought directly from the RCM.

Compared to the other coins in this series so far, the moose is my favorite. Hopefully the rest of the artwork for this series can be just as good as good or better than this issue.

thanks for the replies. Just another question then... Do these get shipped in the plastic sheets like the new loonies & toonies did or do they get their own plastic case like the $20 coins did?

The bullion coins that I have ordered in the past (from many sources), none of them came in sealed plastic. They have always come in those white squares with the see-though plastic window.

I do know that Gatewest offers the coin in something called a "Thermotron Sealed Strips" so I imagine that would be your best bet.
