I have more questions for anyone to answer please. Does it matter which dealer I buy from? I've checked out Gatewest and Colonial Acres and they seem to be selling this coin at around $38-$39. I'm guessing the standard shipping for many of them is $6.50 for orders over $100. Can anyone tell me who to stay away from?
thanks in advance!

thank you! Should I assume that the slight difference in price from one dealer to another is from the market fluctuations on the price of silver?

I find that these dealers drive their prices up every time they get a new batch. It looks like Colonial Acres sold their first batch out, I would expect them to tweak their prices on the next batch, even if silver remains the same. Now that these things are selling out faster than dealers can stock them, the prices will rise.

I agree with elkslayer132. Two very good places to shop from. Never had a problem with either place. Wendy @ Colonial and Darren @ Gatewest are especially easy to talk with.

Finally seen one in person today. Not bad at all. The moose itself is mirror-like and the background a plain brushed bullion finish. Not busy, has a presence, not quite majestic but a fine design regardless.

I'd really like to be able to buy from the RCM. For us in the US, this would be ideal. I talked to my rep and he says we might be able to buy from them eventually. I'd also like to purchase circulation rolls.

I got one today at the Memphis Coin Show in Southhaven, Mississippi today for $40. That and a Barber half dollar I had been looking for. I only had about an hour of time to spend there - had to get back in time to get my son to baseball practice. Wish I had more time to look through the "foreign" sections at each table to see if I could spot a deal.

Does anybody have any milkspot problems on their Moose coins? I'm hearing that the RCM seems to have addressed this issue.

I finally got my Moose at JandM. Paid just under $40. No milkspots.
It`ll be interesting what the next animal will be. A bird of prey would be nice.

I bought one bear from Colonial Acres when they had them in stock. Now I'm wishing I had bought a few more. I have to say my favourite has to either be the wolf or the bear. I missed out on the wolf when it came out, but I managed to buy one at 70 from a local guy.
