... a "blast from the past" there Jeff. I like the 1 dollar notes very much. The brown background colors and the black design - aboriginal motives and HRH, really impressed me when I came to Australia as a kid.
Of course, $1 was also a lot of money to a kid back in the early 1970's !.

For memories sake, I have kept a few of these old notes. Will check for "radar's, repeaters" etc. tonight

Had my first noodle in a while yesterday, $500 bag of dollar coins, not much to report save for this 2002 C m/mark Outback. Had a bit of circ. but no rolling machine marks, thank goodness!!

... whilst on the theme of 1 dollar coins, I found an interesting planchet damage ? / PMD ? on a 2007 APEC commemorative coin whilst noodling yesterday. Picture attached. The reeding on the damaged edge is largely unaltered

Well, done it again!
I picked up my noodling order this afternoon but may be lucky to top it...bought proceeds from a money box, cashed in at the bank, a few days ago. From $260 of 50¢ I turned up this,

Also, quite a number of aUNC coins too (check the antipodean site to see those).
Of course, it may get better but, I expect not.

Would you believe I have found more incused in the last three months than ramsheads or Norfolk Island 20¢?

Went through a CBA $100 coin machine bag of 20c coins, and notable in it not having a single State/UN/Bradman in the 500 coins....and just one NZ 20 cent!!
But there was a 2004 Pointy A in there, and is the nicest one I've managed to noodle so far..

That is my "find of the week".
edit: Just to clarify. It was the third incuse 50c I have ever found - Not the third one found this week!

Very Nice Kel!

Quarter sums me up pretty well ....

Sandwich short of a picnic
Few shillings short of a quid
Quarter short of a whole
