I think it might be a slightly misaligned die

It is very slightly off centre, But this is quite normal with these little "Fish Scale" sized coins.

I've also noticed that the denticles and beads can be quite weak on these little 'uns

...back to noodling after an intense work-related overseas engagement . Last night I went through 20 dollars worth of 20 cent pieces. Lately I have only been getting the normal 20 cent coins with a few "International Womens Day", "Australian Tax Office Centenary", "Wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton" commemorative coins thrown in. So it was refreshing to find a very nice condition "Centenary of Federation - Western Australia" and "Australia's Volunteers" coin. But the best find was a "Large Head" 2004 coin. Pity about the ordinary condition. My 5th "Large Head". Nice Squire

Thanks "The Unicorn". Indonesian Rupiah are not so much fun to noodle. Often they are offered as rather badly worn banknotes. Not too healthy either . The odd Indonesian coin that I received was "ultralight and shiny" aluminium . Nothing like noodling those Aussie coins. A real "Welcome Home" However, aside from the currency Indonesia was great Squire

They're still out there to be found! But, now one less running free. And, one the nice lady at the bank kept for me... Keep looking and good luck, Jeff

Well, it's nice to be able to contribute. So, I'm a member of a bowling club, and occasionally I do the bar for them, volunteer work on quiet nights. Last time I worked, I took my loose change money box with me, with the idea that, after closing, I would noodle my way through the change and swap out anything nice. But alas, there was almost no change in the till. I repeated the process last night, and there was around $50.00 in change. So, after everyone went home and I closed up, I happily noodled my was through what was there. My booty is as follows : 2 x Rams head 50 centers 1 x volunteer 50 cents 1 x Endeavour 50 cents 1 x Australia day 50 cents 1 x Melb Comm 50 cents 1 x Bris Comm 50 cents 1 x reasonable WWII 50 cents 1 x Don Bradman 20cent 1 x Int Women's day 20 cent 1 x Kate Middleton 20 cent 2 x Kiwi 5 cent 1 x quite good condition dancing man, still has the creases on his trousers 1 x my very first dollar Cud - not sure if it qualifies as a rabbit ear.
