The RAM site shows 200,000 x 20c coins for 1988 and it's anybodies guess if they went into circulation or not.

I've never found one, and I suspect that any that are found probably originated from a Mint Set.

Nice finds everyone. Well done!

You've done well to find a last prefix from 12 yrs ago, shame it isn't in better condition. I suppose if it's the first you've found, at least you have one now.

So happy that after searching through hundreds of dollars I found a rotated centenary of federation $1. I've already bought one for around $30 , but nothing beats finding one.

Not rotated much so it was probably missed by all the people searching for these.

That's a good pickup

They are missed by many, as the rotation isn't that obvious. Good to see there's still a few out there to be found.

In reply to sfizernator's question of the 20th July, I have attached a front-on and edge view of the reverse of my recent $1 "Coat of Arms" find.

Nothing unusual on the reverse rim it seems

... my "special find of the week" part 2.

A slightly "natty" 2010 "100 years of Australian Coinage" $1 coin. $1 coin noodling is proving rewarding
