Its in pretty good condition for its age. is it worth anything over face or should I just spend it...

That is a nice looking note to find in your change. IMO in that condition it is a keeper. According to the Standard Catalog of US paper money that bill is $25 in XF condition which yours appears to be. Nice find

I would suggest spending that $20 on silver Monday, then cashing it in on Tuesday.

Tough decision, but I say keep it. There were 307,200,000 printed. It would make a nice addition to a small type set. Keep one design of each $20 in CU and you have a cool little type short set for the $20 note.
