i bought a 1870 Newfoundland 20 cent coin 2 years ago
i want to sell it but nobody seems interested in this coin
if it has a mintage only 50,000, why is it so hard to sell

That's a question that has been pondered over for the past 50 years, and still blows my mind! I just can't imagine why every collector of Canadian coins doesn't acquire Newfoundland coinage as a result of it's undervalued/underpriced and low mintages.
Perhaps there will be a day when Nfld. coins become fashionable to collect?

and . I scoop them up when I see them. They are even less recognized here in the U.S.

demerest, stay on CCF and get enough post, and you will be able to sell it here.
